Join us on Saturday 13th of June for a Tetra Pak printing morning with illustrator Esther Palandri.

Tetra Pak printing is a way of producing quick and low-cost prints similar to drypoints and etchings. Using recycled cartons as our plates, we score them with an etching needle or peel off the surface with a scalpel to create images. The plate is then inked up and run through the press. It is a versatile technique that lends itself well to experimentation.

During the session participants will learn the full process, produce their own Tetra Pak prints and take them home at the end of the workshop.

FAQ

Do I need to prepare anything before the workshop?

No, but do feel free to bring any visual references that you might want to have with you when making your Tetra Pak print. There will be some reference books for you to take inspiration from in the studio, too! 

What’s included?

All materials needed are included in the cost of the course, but you are welcome to bring along your own if you choose e.g. a certain kind of paper you’d like to print with.

Accessibility

Regrettably, there is no step-free access to the studio, which is in a basement room that includes a set of steep stairs.
